Hi, as far as I know a caregiver’s main goal is to allow an elderly person to “age in place” safely and with a sense of independence. Duties range from assisting with hygiene to meal preparation. So many. Largely people fears . Care workers are under estimated as when people are sick and weak they are very vulnerable to fear or irritability. To make them feel comfortable and loved is a hard job demanding much patience.
